Upcoming changes and improvements

Hey there!

It's been a while since our last blog post. In a good way, this sixteen-day long radio silence is the calm before the storm.

Since the website relaunch, we've been planning a lot of changes and improvements to the customer portal and our existing products. We made a massive change this month and converted all our Shared, Reseller, and Application Hosting servers to full SSD to replace the previous generation hybrid storage. It was a huge move, and we had to make it so the downtime was minimal and customer data is kept safe and sound. Before that, we relaunched the DigitalFyre Blog.

2017 has been a busy year for DigitalFyre in a very good way, and hopefully the good kind of busy will continue.

So, without further ado, let's quickly go over what's coming.

Customer Portal

There will be some changes to the customer portal that include:

  • Improved loading speed.
  • UI/UX Changes with some colors and making some tables more compact.
  • A more organized URL structure.
  • Service credit history.

And a lot of changes under the hood.

VPS Stats

You will soon be able to see a lof of statistics regarding your VPS which includes CPU, Disk I/O, and bandwidth. The VPS management interface will receive a nice facelift as well making it more organized. Also automated backups are coming!

Dedicated Servers

The management interface for the dedicated servers will also get a nice facelift. Data will be better organized and the main page will be a lot less cluttered. We will also be improving the load speed for the server management interface.

The blog

The blog has been getting some minor style changes over the past couple of weeks. The major change, though, will be the URL. We will be moving to blog.digitalfyre.com soon.

Case Studies

We will be publishing a series of case studies where our customers will share their experience working with the team here at DigitalFyre and how we helped them achieve their goals for their websites.
