Using your Client Area Security Pin

When you sign up with DigitalFyre and log in to your account, a unique security PIN will be automatically generated. The security PIN is 8 digit number that only you and our Support Staff know. It is used by DigitalFyre's staff to confirm that we are communicating with the correct person (the account owner) when you contact us for support. It's mostly helpful when you are contacting our Support Team via Live Chat or Phone.

The security PIN, in a way, is similar to that on your ATM/debit card, or your account with your ISP. For that reason, you should protect your PIN and avoid disclosing it to anyone you do not wish to provide access to your account.

The Security Pin can be found in the DigitalFyre Customer Portal under My Details. In order to obtain it, please follow the instructions below:

  • log in to your DigitalFyre Account.
  • At the bottom of the left-size navigation, click on your name.
  • Click My Details.
  • Scroll down to the Support Security Pin section.
  • Highlight and copy the Security Pin.

At your convenience, you can generate a new security pin by clicking the Generate New Pin Button at any time.

Lastly, we strongly recommend you not to share the security pin with anyone. Additionally, once your Security Pin has been verified once by our Support Staff, a new pin will be generated, thus invalidating the one that was used.
